TELEDYNE - Test Services (TTS), together with Entergy Nuclear, has developed a comprehensive AOV Test Database that is now available to the industry for utility AOV program control.
The software is currently in use at Entergy and Arizona Public Service.
Teledyne ACETest software is developed, maintained and documented using standard software Quality Assurance procedures developed by TTS. It is delivered with a Certificate of Conformance attesting to this fact.
Teledyne has developed a client/server implementation of ACETest. This allows for a single software installation on a server to function for the entire utility, including all remote sites.
The software includes the following work control features:
- Multiple privilege levels for work orders, pre-test, and review
- Sign-off control capability
An AOV Data Record (AOVDR) is created before the valve is tested.
The AOVDR includes all:
- Necessary system information.
- Valve and actuator information.
- Switch settings
- Benchset and supply air settings
Additional features:
- Design data may be imported from ACE, or entered manually.
- Imported design data may be overridden.
An optional Setup Window may be created.
- Setup Window is displayed graphically.
- Calculated Required Seat Loads include sensor and acquisition equipment errors
- Pre-Test data is electronically signed off and locked
Post-Test Evaluation is performed via a series of questions while displaying both design and test data for review.
- Test data may be imported from QUIKLOOK or Viper or entered manually.
- A Test Summary is presented showing As-Found and As-Left results.
- Tester and engineer comments are included.
- A Test Log lists all tests performed.
- The Test Evaluation is electronically signed off and locked
- A powerful export-to-Excel reporting tool is included for use in trending analysis
